Following the success of Ilaputi, our founder Chef Jan Rodriguez wanted to build something different—a sophisticated, upscale chophouse where people could get a phenomenal meal and proper, world-class drinks under one roof, without any of the stuffiness of traditional fine dining. When we were planning the restaurant and testing the first dishes, the atmosphere was so vibrant and relaxed that we realized we had our concept right in front of us. We decided to call it Weekend, because we made it our ultimate mission to make everyday feel exactly like that.

At the heart of our kitchen is a obsession with proper technique and culinary exploration. We are Cebu’s premier steakhouse specializing in in-house dry-aged beef, and we’ve proudly pushed boundaries as innovators in the country by applying those same meticulous dry-aging processes to premium pork and fish.
